This Bravo SD provides 2 points of contact. It is a two-stage suppressor a high and low section and can be used with good results in both a bolt and gas rifle. Although this suppressor is 10" long, it only extends the length of the rifle no more than 6". This suppressor is built for no larger than a .308 caliber rifle.

  • Users frequently complain about a change of the point of impact between a rifle with and without a sound suppressor installed. This is most often a function of the inherent stiffness of the rifle's barrel, not the sound suppressor. We offer the service or will instruct the customer in how to time out the suppressor to the weapon. This procedure will minimize the change of windage point of impact.

Sierra SD

.338 Lapua
  • Weight: 30 oz.
  • Overall length: 12 in.
  • Exterior diameter: 1.625 in.
  • Rifle used in test: T2 Blazzer w/ 26 in. barrel
  • Ammunition used: 300 grain Sierra Match King, 2725 fps
  • Ambient temperature: 42° F - Potomac, Montana, at 3,950 ft. above sea level
  • Humidity 35%

Sound Pressure Level Reduction: 33 db

The 12" Sierra suppressor is magnum class. When attached to the weapon over the barrel, it extends past the barrel only 8". It is made for a variety of calibers including 7mm, .300, .300 RUM, .338 RUM, and .338 Lapua. The Sierra SD, just like the Bravo SD, can be easily and quickly removed without detaching the muzzle brake. It has excellent pressure and recoil reduction qualities. The Sierra requires one-hand installation and remains tights with the 2-point contact. Many shooters ask why Elite Iron does not make a quick detachable suppressor. We don't because none are fail safe and screw-on cans are.
